A major AIDS activist group says the Obama administration and Democratic congress have dropped the ball on HIV/AIDS funding .. and a Republican-led bill is necessary to save lives.

GetEQUAL ENDA protest on Capitol Hill
Gay rights supporters held protests around the country on Thursday, demanding passage of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act. Dozens gathered in Washington DC at noon for a rally organized by activist group GetEqual. At the same time, GetEqual says around a hundred supporters protested at the San Francisco office of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Gay married MD state employees to get equal benefits
Same-sex spouses of Maryland state employees will now be eligible for the same benefits that opposite-sex spouses get.
