A new lawsuit challenging Prop 8 was filed in federal court Tuesday on behalf of two same sex couples. Some in the LGBT community are questioning the motives of one of the attorneys — and the strategy employed by both.
In New York City, some two thousand same-sex marriage advocates marched and rallied in Greenwich Village under hovering NYPD helicopters and drizzly skies. They chanted, “Gay, straight, black, white, marriage is a civil right.”
