  2. Slowly but surely Sirius has been chopping away at OutQ. Lance Bass moving into D&R time slot was awful and now the news going to once a day. More and more reasons to save my subscription fee next year.

  3. Really, what is going on with OutQ’s programming? Much as I have enjoyed Larry Flick, it seems like all I’m ever able to catch is all Larry, all the time. All. Weekend. Long. And now no news? NO NEWS? And please DON’T patronise me or any other listener AGAIN by saying that we can’t accept change.
I can go to any other radio station and get all the music I want. I come to OutQ for the LGBTQ/perspective. You’ve pretty much lost me as a listener.
IS there a\ plan for this station?

  4. Sad Day When I Don’t Get My Daily News, This Was One Of The Main Reasons I Subscribe To Xm. Probably Won’t Renew.

  6. Sirius needs to realize the importance of the out q news to the lgbt community. sometimes it is the ONLY way people have to be updated on anything pertaining to gay people, particularly those in rural and redneck regions of the country (which is MOST of it). get off your duffs and RESTORE OUR NEWS.

  7. I am really sorry that you have discontinued the Out Q News on the hour. Frankly, it was just about the only reason I have continued to keep my Sirius XM subscription and I would plan my errands around hearing the news at the top of the hour. Instead, I get four extra minutes of giggling and mostly inane conversation. MAJOR mistake here, folks. You have just lost another subscriber unless you change the format back to what it was.

  8. My partner and I are so disappointed in OutQ’s decision to remove hourly news updates from the station. With the removal of Michalengelo’s show and the news updates, OutQ has lost everything that made it meaningful to us. The other shows are fine, but fluff entertainment at best. We hope this decision is reversed or we will have no reason to tune in.

  9. I have been an XM subscriber since they first went on the air. Bluetooth and phone apps have pretty much made satellite radio un-necessary, but I always timed my drive to the office to get OutQ news and Larry Flick. Similarly, my drive home always included Michelangelo Signorille and OutQ news. Derek and Romaine, and Frank and Doria sometimes appeal to the thrid-grader in me, but there’s only so much of that I can take. I need grown-up programming. It’s time to cancel my XM subscription.

When LOGO first went on the air I changed cable providers so I could watch. They had lots of unique programming and documentaries. Eventually, It became all RuPaul all the time. I got rid of the cable and haven’t watched it since.

For now, I’ll get my gay news from the blogs and Rachel Maddow. My drive time will be local news and politics.

  10. What a disappointment to lose OutQ News. Seriously reconsidering my subscription to Sirius over this, among other issues related to Sirius’ overpriced, underperforming service. I mean, lack of service.

  11. I am VERY disappointed in SiriusXM for discontinuing the OutQ top of the hour newscasts. I lookes forward to listening to them frequently and often times would turn to OutQ just in time to hear the news at the top of the hour and then stay for the next hour’s programming. I am seriously considering canceling my subscription based on the multiple changes to my favorite OutQ programs.

  13. I am so disappointed the news is no longer hourly. I am I my car at different times (rarely at 6pm) and will miss the news stories most days. This was my best source of LGBT specific news quickly each day and will miss this dearly.

  14. It’s sad that OutQ News has been reduced to only once a day. With this and the move of Michaelangelo Signorile to Sirius Progress, OutQ has become a station where the shows are all about pop culture. Doesn’t our community deserve better than rehashing the same Kardashian and Jolie gossip day after day?

  15. I am really disappointed that the hourly newscasts have been discontinued! With this cancellation and the move of Signorile to another channel, I will not be listening further.

  16. Poor decision…..I always lisened to out q news on my way home from work at 5pm PST……..Sirius needs to evaluate the decision. I don’t listen to the station anymore. I enjoy the news and it always lead into Derek and Romaine…..now my radio is on BBC 24/7………..need to bring back hourly news till 7pm PSG.

  17. Thank you for all of the wonderful news coverage.
I have to admit that it was my favorite part of OutQ programing.
I always hoped that you would have a more extensive news program.

I am disappointed that I will not be able to simply tune into or click on OutQ for my daily updates.

I enjoyed hearing the extended news on day a week or so ago, but I have not been able to catch it since.

Can you post times when the news section will be aired on each show?

There is no other source like OutQ news and I don’t want to miss it.

    Thanks,

  19. I only subscribed to Sirius for out Q, and over the last few months it,s gone to hell. Moving Michealangleo the killing off the news. I judge a lot of really poor managemt decision making.Maybe it’s time to drop serious all together…
